The care staff at Haven Memory Care on Halcyon conducted 56 on-site COVID-19 tests across its Assisted Living and Memory Care residents and staff members.
All of the senior living residents came back negative with one additional employee testing positive. The infected employees have remained quarantined from the community.
Since the threat of COVID-19 began, the care staff at Haven Memory Care on Halcyon have practiced sanitation and disinfection procedures each shift on a daily basis within the community. Community Senior Life is following all local and state department of health requirements including employee, vendor, and visitor screening prior to contact with residents and staff-wide usage of face masks while on duty.
Haven Memory Care on Halcyon is continuing to practice universal precautions: disinfecting/cleaning protocols; hand washing and personal hygiene; wearing appropriate personal protection equipment; and, social distancing both in the community and encouraging employees to do so while off duty.
The care staff at Haven Memory Care on Halcyon screens each Assisted Living and Memory Care resident, for fever and respiratory symptoms twice daily and retested all residents and staff again on Monday, September 21, 2020. All test results for Residents and Staff were negative.
